school supply list 2008 - 2009 - fourth Grade

There are some basic supplies that are uniform within each grade. These supplies will be covered with the registration supply fee and they will be distributed throughout the year in the classrooms.

In addition, there are supplies that each child will be required to bring when school begins on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Label all supplies with your child's name

Earthquake preparedness kit (one per child - mandatory on the first day of school)

1 - zip lock bag (name and grade printed on the outside) to include:

2 granola bars * 1 boxed drink * 1 paper napkin * a comforting note to your child with a family picture

Required supplies:

4 containers of antibacterial baby wipes

1 container antibacterial wipes for hands (for computers)

4 boxes of Kleenex

1 roll of paper towels

1 zippered pencil bag

3 packages #2 yellow pencils SHARPENED (no mechanical pencils)

2 erasers

2 sets of markers (fine point and larger)

4 dry erase markers (Expo/basic)

Binder paper (200 count college ruled)

6 pocket folders (hole punched and basic colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, black)

NO Trapper Keepers or large notebooks

1 box 24 crayons

1 box colored pencils

1 pair of good, sturdy, pointed scissors

4 red pens

1 large glue stick

1 bottle of glue

1 steno pad

Pocketbook dictionary

2 highlighters

2 packages 3 x 5 lined cards

Ruler with cm/inches (no designs)

1 old sock in plastic Ziplock bag

1 Sterlite Clearview plastic bin with lid (15 qt/14 L)
