school supply list 2008 - 2009 - sixth Grade

There are some basic supplies that are uniform within each grade. These supplies will be covered with the registration supply fee and they will be distributed throughout the year in the classrooms.

In addition, there are supplies that each child will be required to bring when school begins on Tuesday, September 2nd.

Label all supplies with your child's name

Earthquake preparedness kit (one per child - mandatory on the first day of school)

1 - zip lock bag (name and grade printed on the outside) to include:

2 granola bars * 1 boxed drink * 1 paper napkin * a comforting note to your child with a family picture

Required supplies:

2 containers of antibacterial baby wipes

2 containers of Lysol or Clorox sanitizing wipes

1 bottle hand sanitizer

4 boxes of Kleenex

1 roll of paper towels

4 dry erase markers

2 packages lined 3 x 5 cards

zippered pencil pouch (fits in binder)

Eraser

5 pocket folders (hole punched and basic colors)

Protractor and Compass (transparent)

Set of markers (fine point and larger)

Three ring binder (1 1/2 black 2/clear outside pocket)

1 box colored pencils

4 black or blue pens

4 red pens

Graph paper (hold punched)

2 highlighters

200 sheets college ruled binder paper

1 cm/inch ruler (no designs)

5 spiral notebooks (basic covers)

3 packages #2 yellow pencils (NO mechanical pencils)

1 large glue stick

6 dividers for 3 ring notebook

Clear storage box (about 18 US Qt/17 L 15.2" x 11.3" x 9.96")
